Cricket Season!

While domestic cricket here in Australia has kicked off, most Australian cricket fans would consider next Friday to be the proper start of the season.


Australia takes on Sri Lanka at the Gabba in Brisbane in the first Test for the season. How will Australia go without retirees Glenn Mc Grath, Shane Warne & Justin Langer? Time will tell, of course.


I was brought up around playing and watching cricket so of course I understand it. I can see how other people can find it boring, especially 5 day Tests. Some people will be waiting for the smash and bash of one day cricket and others will be waiting for the hit and giggle of 20/20 cricket.


One of the highlights for me will be the chance to do my 12th Man impersonation who in turn is impersonating the Channel 9 Commentary team. Got him! Yes!
